Yes I have the same problem. Private messages can't be accessed. Clicking on private messages in the topmost bar brings you to the HBM homepage instead of your inbox.
Admin, what's going on?

you may click the notif button for the unread messages.
There is also a chance that the message has already been removed/unsent
