Re: Does age matters?
Honestly yes age does matter because factors like Social Society, interests, experience, and personal growth are to be considered
Society dictates what is socially acceptable and what isn't. It is hard to work in a relationship where the age gap is huge and society deems it immoral or not socially acceptable. You won't be able to get your traditional help from family also because they are part of that social community of similar beliefs.
People don't release until later in their relationship that their interests are actually kind of different due to different exposure to Pop Culture and Technology. It's the reason why Boomers cannot relate easily to Gen Z or Millenniums as the like internet did not play a huge factor or influence in their life. The newer generation can relate to each other through similar exposure to technologies such Cellphones/Apps and pop culture celebrities.
Experience and personal growth, I would say are correlated with each other. Having that experience and pairing with someone without/less experience may lead to minor or major conflict as the person with the lesser experience does not always know how to handle the situation and the person with more experience may have to put more effort to steer in the right direction for the relationship. But always relying on the person with the more experience may hinder the person with the less experience to grow as an individual or may feel trapped due to having so many limitations or lack of skill because of the reliance to their partner. Priorities would also be different as you get older your priorities are more practical and reasonable as when you are younger it more common to have more ambitious goals or priorities that may be more questionable if an older person were to do it.
But in the end, it's more of a personal choice between two concatenating adults, they should be aware and responsible for their actions like everyone else.
